This is not really a system. It is a book over 200 pages long teaching how to pick false favourites. If you want a quick pick system, this is not the one for you. If you want to learn how to pick ‘false favourites’ then this book can not be faulted, especially at the price.

Very lengthy ’system’ to read and inwardly digest but worth the effort.
No good for punters who want a quick selection. As with all good ’systems’ one has to work a bit to reap rewards.

As someone who’s experience shows that the best way of making consistent profits at horse racing is to lay horses rather than back them, False Favourites is an absolute wealth of relevant information and guidance for the novice layer. The sheer volume of information on offer could be daunting to the beginner and this is why I have scored the system down slightly on ‘ease of use’. Other than that, I can’t fault it and at the price it’s an absolute steal compared to other ’systems’.

For me the most complete “guide” to horse racing and laying out there.Over 200 pages of info. and all of it relevant, read it 4 times now and still haven’t registered all the info.
It takes a lot of effort and will power to go trough such a read but at the end it’s all worth it as i had 100% wilst paper trading and now in my second week going with real money and the same again…
There’s even more potential winings to be made if you are like me and fancy a bit of trading.
5/5

A must for begginers especialy at that price. Not easy to follow tought as it’s mostly a guide than a system.
Expect 10-20 points a month but the ideas and logic in the book can be used with many ways ,profitable ways.

This is not really a system and profits are open to each individual so I don’t like it, I have broke even with it, complete waste of time.

Excellent value for money. It taught me a lot about what types of races to lay horses and just as importantly, that laying horses at 7-2 can be far more profitable than laying them at even money. The key is price relative to the competivness or otherwise of a race. A race can have six runners but five feasible winners, or it can have 14 runners but only one or two horse that you can give a realistic hope to. False Favourites uses logic and common sense combined with lots of information about horse racing that you can use to make long term profits laying horses at shortish odds in competetive races. It is not simple though and not based on a ‘five minute glance at the Racing Post Wesite’. Many systems selling for much more draw people in by being simple to work out which horse to lay, but the fact is they don’t work precisely because they don’t factor in enough of the real things that matter about the chances of the horses in that race. So it takes time and effort to work with this e-book, but if you’ve got the time and are prepared to put in the effort it is well worth the price invested in it.

I am not surprised that many people have given False Favourite a great rating stars because it is an excellent education course. It is essential for everyone to understand how to read the forms in Racing post.

This is one of my favoruite! I would recommended you to buy that if you are beginners. Jonathan Burgess of FF, does not insult your intelligence and he was just explained how it all work on Racing Post and Betfair.

Well done to Jonathan! Even the price is so cheap. I cannot understand why they offer this fantastic price!!!

Comprehensive guide to laying but should be advertised as such. This is not a system per-say but very informative and worth the money

Very disappointed that it is NOT what it says A SYSTEM. A system is a set of rules which when followed, gives everyone the same selections. With this it is possible your choice will be different from someone else. However I am showing about a 96% strike rate, and also showing good profits. Well worth the money

Having just read through the manual it is more a guide on how to read horse race form using the Racing Post web site. This knowledge can be used for backing or laying horses.

I might be useful for someone who is new to racing but there is nothing here that I did not already know.

Now we come to the laying of favourites part. This has a serious flaw. By definition the favourite is the horse that is the shortest price when the race goes off. Laying a horse in the morning or the night before is no guarantee that it will be the favourite so makes using any statistics relating to favourites redundant.

The saving grace is that it is relatively cheap and you get a lot for your money. A spell checker and a bit of proof reading would not have gone amiss as there are some spelling mistakes and errors that might be confusing
